agree - as good a player as Woodgate is i think he is a huge risk.
He is not match fit and as we are in a strong position and pushing
for promotion, we need players who can come straight in and do a job
and i just see Woodgate as too much high risk.
Needs to get some games under his belt first and then maybe we can consider taking him.
That's my take on it - i'm sure some will disagree with me !

cant believe people are saying they dont want him. what risk? we aint buying him, its a loan.
hes got one of the best footballing brains of any defender in the country and would of been one of the best and an england regular if he hadnt been so unlucky with injuries.
even a yard slow he would still be the best defender in this league by a country mile. (now walker is back in the prem)
please get real, we are rangers, this time last year we had ramage, now you are saying you dont want to give woodgate a game. if he gets injured he goes back.

Depends how he's used... and how his attitude is.
I would imagine that Woodgate is bright enough to know that he can't start every game, and would be used in a similar way to how Ledley King is at Spurs, and how Bellamy is at Cardiff.
This bloke is the defensive equivalent of Craig Bellamy.
If he was 100% able to play week-in week-out, he'd probably still be at Real Madrid.
To have a player like him on board would be great for Connolly and Gorkks.... you never know, they might learn something from him.

be a great signing and softens the blow of losing Walker, also be a kick up the jacksie to Goorks and Connolly who have been shaky of lateI must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most
