    We'll see
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Nothing in there mentoining we are winning the race but I reall hope we get him. Far better than gorrks and connors.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He 'was' a quality defender. We just don't know if he still is. We would be merely used as a means to recover his match fitness. Not sure I like the idea, but if he is close to his previous best would be an experienced assett for sure.

Be nice to get him in before Blackburn, that way he could get 90mins under his belt in the cup instead of being thrown straight into a league game up at Burnley.

I can see this one happening if only in the way of an apology for screwing us over on Walker.

Not sure Spurs will see it like that (or care particularly): the loan agreement was always to January and it has now expired. He's their player who they are free to do what they want with. Pushing him into the Premiership against better opposition to aid his continued development makes perfect sense to me.

Don't think that's the case but Nodge can correct me if i've misunderstood. I believe walker is going to Villa on loan as a make weight for another player heading Tottenham way, Ashley Young maybe? Not sure that's 100% but i do recall Warnock saying Redknapp was happy with Walker at QPR but others at Tottenham wanted it their way and for that he was sorry.

More or less correct. Walker was specified by Villa - he wasn't offered to them on a loan deal. Whether Young goes to Spurs is up in the air....18 months left - he may feel his options will be wider in the summer or even let his contract run down completely. What I would say though that it is very much Harry's (and his coaching staff's) call.

Seems starnge to me id of thought Villa would have had more chance of staying up with Ashley Young in the team as opposed to Kyle Walker.

Still be nice to see them come down either way.

I know giggs is getting on but still has another season in him and much better than young, also they have Valencia coming back very soon and Nani playing very well. He should go to spurs otherwise he will be a bench warmer at united. At you can tell I am not a massive fan but to say united will go in for him is highly unlikely.
