Villa lost again, 3rd bottom, maybe they will sack the manager resulting in the Walker deal falling through. You never know.

Del said that on another thread. I doubt it though because it's likely as part of a transfer deal.
    Your mum would love me...

I actually thought when I saw the score that they need him more than ever.

      Still gutted.

Sidwell - Villa to West Ham
Parker - West Ham to Spurs
Walker - Spurs loan to Villa

        Just my guess.

Neither deal is done and I think all 3 are linked.
Why have none of the deals gone through yet?
Spurs want Parker. Wh need a replacement. Villa want Walker.
Not ITK but just my take on it.

              sidwells gone wolves mate.
Wolves have received a huge boost in their battle to avoid the drop after Steve Sidwell's proposed move to West Ham collapsed, seeing the midfielder join Mick McCarthy's men.

and walkers all but gone barr the paperwork to aston villa
Aston Villa are hoping to sign Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker on loan for the rest of the season. Villa boss Gerard Houllier is understood to be close to agreeing a deal.

He's gone and it's a big blow. At the same time he was not ours and actually created a false picture of the real strength of the squad. It would be great if he did come back but he's the type of player we need to be buying not getting in on loan.

He wasn't here at the start of the season and we did alright. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the early team spirit and determination kicks on and we keep strong. We have had a really tough run of games and I think we are due a good run. We have the capability.

No use pining for what once was. Look to the future and support the players who are still here.

One last thought. Would you enjoy promotion if we had 6 loanees in the side every week?
