  • Warnock/West Ham

I read a post on here recently which expressed concern that Warnock was touting himself for the West Ham job on MOTD2, saying that "he loved the set-up" etc.

With the Hammers being thrashed by Newcastle, is anyone feeling a bit worried that West Ham might offer Warnock the chance to replace Avram Grant? Personally, I cannot believe that he would want to move to a club as badly run as West Ham...

it was goals on sunday on sky sports 1

          ben sheperd
"Neil you said during the break that west ham is the sort of place you could see yourself"

          neil warnock
"Yes, i love the place, the whole set up and the way its run. ive got very good friends who are season ticket holders there, so i know a lot about the place and the owners.

(or words very close to that)

I can't see why he would want to go there at the moment as they look like they are going down and we could be swapping places with them. Having said that he could be hedging his bets just in case the opposite happens.

To leave a club that he has been managing so well and heading for promotion - for a club on the verge of relegation? He would have to have very little pride and common sense to do this. Unlike Harry Redknapp.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Same club that NW helped to snatch £20m Compensation from?

                Hardly.

                    totally different owners/set up now.
he would be offered life changing money to keep them up, he would become a hero there and totally respected in football for getting one dead club up and saving one dead club from going down all in one season.
not saying he would do it or is even going to be offered the job, but theres loads of reasons why he would as well as loads why he wouldnt.

And you think them lovely east end fans would welcome him? Warnock although he's a fighter & a bit of a maverick likes to be loved & loves feeding off the fans ie: constant Palace fan comments & now us. They hate him he would be up against it before he's got his tracksuit on.

He's no fool he has it all here why get into a dog fight & miserable battle with little £?

                      Na

sposse your right, i reckon there would be riots down the bethnal green road if sullivan and gold came out tonight and said
'grant is sacked and the new manager will be neil warnock'.

                        not.

Bottom having played a game more than their rivals - NW would be mad.

We're just bricking it because we know with out Sir Neil we are up sh!t creek.

I wouldn't worry, he's on a mission and as we speak is on course for the promised land.
