Lets be honest...were not going to win it so why do we want the distraction?

Imagine if we get Man United at home next round...tell me that won't distract the players.

I'd much rather lose and focus fully on the league.

Yeah I think your right. We'd be foolish to try and have a cup run.

OK, so we throw it this year and we get to the Prem. Whos knows if it made any difference or not.

And then what about next year, and the year after?
Do we continue to throw it because we're fighting against relegation, or have an outside chance of a Euro spot? When do the excuses stop for not trying?

The FA Cup is about shocks and stories. QPR not good enough? Hypothetically where would we be if we were in the premier league already, same as Wet Spam or Fulham maybe?

QPR not good enough? Past winners include Wimbledon, Portsmouth, Coventry, and supporting your team is about thinking there might be a chance.

im not saying your wrong, cos no-one knows yet, but my take on it is that their reserves will hammer our reserves.
people keep on about us having such a weak bench, so how are 11 of that bench going to be any good against a veteran premiership sides?
we got no chance mate, and im ecstatic about that.

Usually we get tonked. But we are a different breed this year. I`d like to think blackburn don`t give a monkeys about game. As long as we put up a good show and give it a go thats ok. Besides i`ve never been to Ewood park, looking forward to the trip. I want Fulham home in next round!! .

next year no matter where we are in the premniership, we will give it an all out go and even try to go and win it.
cos even if we go down straight away, we get the parachute money that effictivley keeps us alive for a decade or so.
if we dont go up this year and bernie gets bored or dies, we are up shite creek without a paddle and could go into administration.
so for now, #### the ciups, lets just concentrate on getting into the promised land ths season, as it is our best ever chance, and could be our last ever chance.

                good point.

This all started with big clubs throwing the league cup as 'mickey mouse' and its spread from there. Its a shame it comes down to money

Never would I want QPR to throw a game.

If NW puts out a 2nd string XI each one of them should be doing their upmost to impress the boss.

its one of the best away grounds imo.
ewood parks a great day out. always a massive party for the r's.
think people usually go in fancy dress and dance up and down the stairs all game as well.
beer and grub in the ground was great, and the pub they let us in outside is shite hot as well.
enjoy your day mate, not sure the result will be enjoyable, but the day certainly will be.

Team I would play- cerny ,rowlands, hall, parker, borrowdale ,vaggen moen, mahon, buz, cookie, clarke, dave. If any of those aren't fit then play a few kids, rest ALL the first team. We have MUCH more important games to come!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definately, i hate this weekend every year, gets in the way of real football. You will have all the BBC lot waxing lyrical about some 'giant killing' from 'minnows' , will hear it all about the financial gain for the smaller clubs. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr a top club always ends up winning the thing anyway

I think we should take FA CUP seriously and try to go out and win it.

After all we have a blank Saturday end of January and if we beat Blackburn, we could get a really big tie. Trouble is we haven't gone pass the 3rd Round for about 16 years, so unlikely to change history this weekend
ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

The FA Cup is a devalued competition, It doesn't have the same prestige as it used to. It is now just a hangover from a bygone footballing age. Give the reserves a run.
