Oh right Stan I didn't realise there was a cost charge.

    Thats sounds harsh
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Pretty sure it's a tenner on trainline.com where i get my tickets. Not sure if others like National Rail charge more or less.

If you are buying a £30 return ticket it's another third on top.

Barring in mind this fixture is for the 1st of feb would that allow you to cancel your ticket and get a refund or change the date of the ticket?

I guess there should be a lead time for changing any fixture by the club.
it costs £10 per ticket to change it, and being 2 of us and 2 train trips
=£40, which is more than i paid in the first place

Yeah it does sound like a real pain and as you say your trying to bring the cost down by booking in advance and then end up getting stung. Its a shame something can't be done as it doesn't sound like an easy fix. I'll probably drive to portsmouth away and to reading. I don't go further afield but I can appreciate the cost fans have to endure.

Got to agree. Catch 22 situation. I am wary of booking any more train tickets for away games in case they get moved.

I think the government should force Sky/BBC/ESPN to reveal what fixtures they will show at least 3 months in advance so fans can book train tickets safe in the knowledge that games are not going to get moved. How many times have fans been shafted because of this?

Trouble is TV wants the top teams and if they give 3 months+ notice then teams can move up and down the leagues alot during that time.Basically we have to take a gamble if our team is doing well.

Never had this trouble last couple of seasons.
