These guys quite clearly have invested. Cerny, Gorkks, Routledge, Cook are four that straight away come to mind. These guys al arrived in the last twelve months.

We have seen more transfer activity in the last 18 months than we saw in the prior five seasons put together. We are slowly building a team.

I agree with the policy of not splashing out on big signings. I think the buying of a player 12 months from the end of a contract on the cheap is a good policy. Pay him higher wages and he will come. It takes slightly longer to build a squad that way but should get returns in the long run.

Agree, there has been some great signings. That's why I support GPs record as we've got some diamonds. I do get frustrated at the amount spend on SA Road and nought spent on the majorities facilities

Scott, good to see someone else who thinks Gianni has done a half decent job re signings.

Understand the frustration re facilities, however, if we can attract people into those expensive facilities then maybe we can have a division one club playing in the Premiership.

There is no doubting that these guys have some serious contacts.

I, personally, would prefer away from Loftus Road. NOt sure where you could place any investment in all those other stands. No room to expand.

There are fans out there wanting a 20 goal a season striker yet the same people don't want to buy a season ticket.

Those fans can't have it both ways or if they do they are acting like spoilt children.

I still feel Dowie would have done ok had he had the full support of everyone including the fans. A lot of fans did not take to him from the start. To be fair it was him and not Sousa that sorted our defence out.

If these season ticket numbers are anywhere near correct, I think it says far more about how fickle QPR fans really are. I'm sick to death of hearing about heritage and all that crap. This club would be back in Division one at best i was not for Briatore and Co, so where the hell does heritage get you.

Newcastle have had their problems off the field this year and ended up getting relegated yesterday. I bet their fans do not refuse to buy season tickets.

I just do not get QPR fans not buying season tickets when they can afford them. Selecting particular games also is another annoyance. Do you go to the Newcastle, West Brom and Middlesbro games. What about the Tuesday nights against Barnsley.

If you are going to take a stand, just stay away altogether. The club needs to rebuild itself and will need more loyalty than that.

And I am also NOT going to renew my season ticket, despite being able to afford one.

To conflate the two points is intellectually dishonest, and an extremely cheap and nasty debating point.

I've stated my reasons for not renewing. There is only so much abuse and cynicism I can put up with from the club. It's vital for the sake of all of us that they rethink their strategy for producing big attendances of happy fans. At the moment they are behaving foolishly, and I refuse to support the way they are treating us.

But I do enjoy watching live football, and I enjoy the social aspect. For that reason it's likely that I will go to the odd game. And if I'm going to go to the odd game, and have the choice of Newcastle on a Saturday afternoon or "Barnsley on a Tuesday" I am likely to choose the former. And I don't give a stuff that you find that to be "another annoyance". I am a paying customer, and will choose the most potentially interesting matches to watch, whether or not this choice meets with your approval.

I've supported my club through thick and thin, through good managers and bad, through good chairmen and bad, through good teams and one's that were almost entirely cack.
The situation we have today at Loftus Rd is a strange one. Yes, we have a board whose accumulated wealth should mean we are attracting high calibre managers and players to our club, but aren't. But, No, we're not staring administration in the face anymore, we aren't flogging off our best players to get in a few bob anymore, and the squad of players we have today, well, it compares in no way whatsoever to the squad we had at this same stage of the year in 2007, thank God.
People today are very strange, they seem totally unable to rationalise, I blame Thatcher, myself. ;D

As for throwing a tantrum, my decision is emphatically NOT knee-jerk. I've been disappointed by a long list of things, and the cumulative effect finally pushed me over the line when Sousa was sacked. It was then that I decided to take the season off and do other things.

Why on earth this should prevent me from passing an opinion on the club I've supported for a very long time, is beyond me.

I'm sorry to make a personal comment, but you appear to be an extremely judgmental person who feels the need to lecture me on what games I should attend, and whether or not I have the "right" to express an opinion on the club. I won't be intimidated. I've made my decision for what I consider honourable reasons.

A seat in the Platinium area and a programme will cost me £733.05. Thats what it costs me to watch QPR at home. £81.50 a month. I don't bother with the over priced merchandise ,the over cooked pies or the tepid tea. The 5 to 10 aways i manage to get to a season are a bonus

No, what I'm saying is this, the real supporters of any club, not just ours, are the ones in attendance week in, week out. You could spend diddly squat in the club shop for all I care, getting a T-shirt 'aint gonna inspire the lads to victory, is it? Only loyal fans in attendance at Loftus Rd, from the stands, can do that.
