Thought our man of the match was Tommy Smith. Beat his man countless times and had very good delivery.
On the other side of the pitch, no such class. Nearly every ball was hoofed in.
Not sure it is fair to blame Hulse either for us not winning. Ok, he missed a few, but he is effectively a one man strike force. Adel is our other nominated forward but more often than not he is outside the 18yard box when the ball is crossed in. If it misses Hulse there is no one else to follow up.
I could not help think today that we need someone in the middle of the pitch that can also feed balls through from midfield. Am thinking someone of the old Ray Wilkins mould.
Really think we will need to strengthen over the next month. This will be our best chance in years to get to the Premiership so lets not mess it up.
This is a very close league and teams down the bottom can beat the teams at the top.
