I hear that moon its a month long I realise that but people are signing players early this time round, even Aaron Maclean would of been a good signing I believe. Just feel we will miss the boat if we don't get our skates on.

Austin going somewhere else would be terrible if we didn't even show an interest. So clear he is a top talent.

I imagine a lot is down to agents Del, if a player is in demand it makes sense to sit back and wait for the best offer.

Exactly Ben tie up your deals and crack on while everyone else is frantically trying to strengthen. The way Pete is talking we are not even looking at a striker, can't get my head around it. NW knows best but Adel gets injured we are fooked for goals & assists. FACT

We play a one-up-top system which requires a striker who can work hard, win the ball in the air and hold it up to bring others into play. Both Helguson and Hulse can play this role well; what we need is more creativity from everyone not named Adel Taarabt. The return of Buzsaky can't come quickly enough; play him off Helguson, with Smith and Taarabt switching in the wide positions, and we'll be a much less predictable side.

Indeed, Ric. Can't believe for a second he's not interested in a striker.

I do think, regardless of us having the meanest defence, that a defender is more important right now. We desperately need better alongside Connolly.

A striker is important though, to a degree. It'd be nice to have a good option for a 4-4-2 setup.

After today, we clearly need someone who knows how to score. How many efforts were not even on target today ? David James didn't have one save of any note to make. We did play them off the park, but that is of little consolation.
