If Woodgate had not had injury problems he would have been England's best defender IMO.

But he is a disaster and not worth the hassle.

With Walker gone, Hall injured and Connolly suspended for Burnley our defence is looking like Orr, Gorkss, Hill and Borrowdale - mid table at best.

Wouldn't be surprised if Parker were to come in and Orr play at left back but we need defenders and quick. IMO we need cover and competition far more at the back than we do up top.

I'd personally like us to sign two if not three defenders in this window.
