  • Jonathon Woodgate...

Maybe not such a bad idea, after all.

If we're going to panic like f*ck every time we are defending a lead in stoppage time, when the pressure's on as the season hots up... maybe a touch of class and knowhow at the back is what's needed.

Sort it ahhht, Kaspars, Clint, Bradley etc..

That is why this team would get crucified in the Prem; too many prone to errors - Hill was immense today until the first goal and why the back four had to panic for the second against the rubbish against them, I'll never know.

They had Stead in their pocket all game until he went off - a bloody good thing as he always scores against us...

I mean, Damion Stewart UP FRONT FFS!

To be fair to Hill played well apart from the disasterous back header. If we can get a quality centre-back in to partner him, and then sign a left-back, we would be ok at the back. At the other end, if we had put away some of our chances, we would have won easily. So a goalscorer is required as well. We are fortunate that the other teams at the top are slipping up as well, but we can't rely on this to continue.

Even if he is only 50% fit he is far better than what we have.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Gorkss and Connolly form the best centre-half pairing in this division. All defenders make mistakes; it's just that a defender's mistake often results in a goal, whereas strikers can miss loads of chances but are (generally) forgiven if they net the winner.

Woodgate is injury-prone ****. Don't want him anywhere near the club.
