Do you really believe that or are you just being loyal? He has a good scoring record but since he has been with us he has been very poor on the ground so everything has to be pumped high to him. Today Smith must have laid on five good crosses for him to head. I'm not saying any one chance was that easy but the loan striker for a team top of the league should have been able to put at least one of those away. Call me negative if you like but I simply don't believe that a team with Hulse as loan striker as he is currently playing will do enough to gain us automatic promotion.

'Behind him' or 'a few inches too high' tells me Hulse can't time his runs or jumps. Agree Smith should have scored at the end, but Hulse had no excuse for not hitting the target 1min before half-time.

Hulse did a job today. Just a goal was lacking.
That's a total contradiction, his job is scoring goals, he didn't do it, I thought you were paid to your job, he didn't, fire him.

is HH's job scoring goals as well?

2 goals from open play all season.

The sun newspaper say in the match report we would have won easily if hulse wasn't so wastefull in front of goal and it says "again" meaning he has before as well, but hell maybe they and us are all wrong about hulse and our lack of decent strikers, maybe Neil knows more than anyone about this guy and Clarke!

We need to find some middle ground here... where I was sitting Hulse worked really hard and hold up play was good. However on the way home a lady called in to talksport and said he was exceptional !

Now, in my opinion he was not exceptional and should of scored ! however that does not mean he was rubbish.

Well done Hulse, must do better(I am sure in time he will).

I'm a fan of Hulse, and he lead the line well. The trouble is, he's winning the ball all day long, but he's not as good at laying it off as HH is. Either way, with HH or Hulse, we do need someone who's ready to gamble for the flick on.
