well when you think of it ,it is a very uinusual thing to see a pub smashed up at qpr home games,or i havent ever witnessed it,but i suppose it must happen from time to time, the person who takes his two sons in there, must be very sad as they see this as there special place, all i can say is thank god the pubs dont keep getting smashed up

I think sad is a little harsh? As i have said i have had 1 pre match beer in there for donkeys & never seen any trouble, nor have my sons.
If i thought for 1 moment that they would have to witness anything like is being stated i would not take them to the game let alone the BQ.
Crazy to be honest with you that i cant take my sons to a pub to meet family members before a game of football without being called sad.
I was in there (with my two little ones) and anyone who thinks the BC firm were youngsters couldn't have been looking at the same mob as me. My nephew went in the front bar to watch the highlights and came back sayiing I had better move the boys as BC were just about to steam the back bar. Luckily for me and kids, the cavalry turned up at the front door. BC got exactly what they wanted but not the rsult they wanted.
I find it disgusting and shocking in 2011 that grown men feel the need to fight let alone at a fb match! We should bring back the birch/national service or some common sense and respect at least.I hope all you hooligans present and past feel really proud.

I promised not to post on this thread anymore but I have to after reading this latest retort.
Myself and 7 other QPR fans where standing right NEXT to those BC supporters( by the way two of my group where females) and I can assure you that NON of those lads had any intentions of steaming anything!
They where having a quick drink before they coach came to pick them up, I know this because the lads where standing right next to us, when it all kicked off the pub doors where shut and believe me they could have turned on us if they where that way inclined but at no point where we in danger from them, infact our only danger was from the flying glass and bits of wood coming from the Rangers, it's our pub for pete's sake!
PS: One of the OLD boys who drinks in the BC nearly had a heart attack, oh I forgot to mention that several old guys got caught up in the madness.
That's twice this season I have seen this crap down the bush, lets hope this is the last time.
If someone spread the rumour that these guys where about to steam the other bar, that person was mistaken.
CAN I ASSURE RABB1 THAT I WASNT CALLING YOU SAD i meant it was sad for you to have your special place smashed up
my special place will allways be the springbok, back in 69 it was our pub and now its once more a superhoops stronghold
but many love the smuts
some love the conmnine
some just love all pubs.by the way with 6000 hits this is an incredible thread its not gloryfying violence, its everyone giving there thoughts, california hoops has
given a factual account which dosnt seem to concure with the behaviour of about 50 bristol fans,so could it be that these guys were not looking for trouble at all.i dont know i wasnt there, but full credit to the mods for letting this thread
continue

Sorry to contradict you, but their main boy, the one about 40 with the beard and grey puffer jacket came in the back bar to see if there were enough Rangers in there for them to have a go. Why do you think they were in there? If you really believe they were there for a quiet tipple on their way home you are a very trusting man.
KINGO what really did happen were these guys part of there firm or were they just bristol city fans just having a drink, what happened to the 50 bristol that got off the coach

Well I can assure you no such person was in our bar, I think these kids where in the wrong place at the wrong time, bless them.
When it all kicked off I heard one of them say " **** this must be there main pub" these guys didn't have a clue.
When I say kids I mean late teens, I am nearly 50( 47) so to me that makes them kids.
