didn't think he had a bad game at all to be fair. as always, worked his socks off, chased down every ball upfield, gave the full backs a torrid time and got stuck in. it was the all action display that Mackie gives week in and week out.

had one disallowed for offside, and came close with another couple, but was far from poor, and i can't see any justification for dropping him.

I'm sure he put in a good cross as well.

got a Yorkshire Terrier downstairs that'll chase the ball all ####ing game too , cant fault his work rate but his impact in the last few games has been negligible compared to how he started the season. If we had a better squad id say rest him but weve got a small squad that lacks quality in depth. Dunno bout a one man team but god help us if Adel gets injured...

At the risk of being verbally chastised, I think Mackie is nowhere near as effective as earlier in the season. Then, he would have been the player following up the shots which James spilled, and would have put them away. There was also one occasion in the second half when the ball came to him, in the box, acres of space, and he BLASTED it when a simple pass into the net would have done.
Strikes me as lacking in confidence in front of goal -- and has done since Scotland picked him, and he was scrutinised and criticised because the fans wanted someone else (can't remember who -- Boyd, was it?). The whole international episode seems to have done him no favours at all imho.

It might not be a popular view but its nice to see a few posters have been watching his current form and haven't decide to just access his 1st 8 games as we have now played 24. I would of increased the font size and maybe added colour but again thats my opinion.

how did mackie play?

I have been calling for him to be dropped/rested for ages now and has really been under performing.

He is a warnock favourite but lacks ability can some give me some positive news regarding his play today? It sounded like he had plenty of chances.

I think people need to open their eyes to the fact that Mackie's first touch and ability to shoot have both deserted him recently -- nothing to do with being allies (this isn't the Eurovision Song Contest ffs) but more to do with being a concerned fan who has just watched us draw a game 2-2 which, earlier in the season, we would have probably won 3 or 4 nil -- with Mackie oozing confidence and scoring at least one goal.
Not a criticism of Mackie, just a concern as to where his confidence and touch have gone -- and a hope that NW's man management skills will help the problem.

Yeah and because I have missed all but 4 home games and 1 of those being on sky (watford) I am not entitled to an opinion, nice one stan and sorry I have upset you and the star man that is Jamie mackie.

Maybe you could of come out with a constructive post instead of your little rant.
Then again you do sit in x block and you have family sitting near you that you didn't know about.
