  • We could be the!!

Poorest supported side to get promoted to the Prem!

15K is pretty pathetic really for a team top of the championship on a bank holiday.

Boo I think there are many things to take into account.

The recession has taken its toll and its not just QPR that has seen its support affected.

What with extreme fuel prices, unemployment etc I can understand fans picking and choosing there games. I like to sit in an area I have always sat. Thats 30 quid plus fuel a programe i'm looking at 60 quid and thats when I don't eat and drink anything.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

you tell someone to get a life when openly admitting you are gutted by a draw, oh dear, think the teams start to the season has spoilt people a bit too much

Thats a bit harsh fella, he's only stating a point and a valid point at that. I dont go as much as i used to due to more important priorities and i constantly get the p iss taken out of me by mates who follow other clubs about our poor attendances.
I cant put my finger on it why they are so bad because during the promotion push under Ollie tickets were hard to get due to demand but this season, we play, at times, attractive football, are top of the league, rarely conceding and still we cant sell out. Im not having the 'its too dear' excuse because most CCC sides charge similar to us now.

christ and you think other championship sides sell out dave?

Some of these grounds like rioch, riverside etc are half empty.

You try getting a mortgage dave if you haven't got on the property ladder, the whole day out costs me 60 quid when I include fuel if you think thats not a money issue then I want a job like you mate.

And there are people saying we should spend millions and get into crippling debt building a 35,000 seater stadium at the BBC site!

bigger ground would help them bring the price down to help fans out.

I'd rather sell tickets at 30 pound for premiership football than 60 quid in a 18k stadium.

I have a mortgage Weare and yes it does stop me going to Rangers every week but i get my 15 odd games a season.
We are not even in the top half in our division when it comes to crowds, very strange. Yet 7 years ago in L1 we got full houses quite often during the promotion run in.

Blackpool averaged less than ten thousand last season.

home end was 99% full so can't say attendence was poor, can only fill what your given! away fans didn't fill their end so that's why the attendance was 17k+
