No signings no promotion?

dont know what everyone else thinks but we really do need to spalsh out on a striker now and play with width, we play to narrow everything goes through the middle and rarely do we keep the ball, this is not a #### of warnock or the team post just think with a decent target man and few ball s whipped in the box it gives us a new dimension for the last half of the season.

While I don't disagree, you are suggesting that the current squad that have amassed 47 points, and are top of the league, have either:-
a) been lucky
b) will have a change of form
c) other teams around will spend a fortune to catch us

which one?

Lets enjoy it while we can. I'm not yet convinced that we are or ever will be a spending club despite our board

id have to say a bit of A and b pal we seem a little bit lazy of lajust a couple of new faces could freshaen things up for our run in whats the harm in spending 3 million or so to guarentee promotion thats all.

You could be right, I think its a mix of all 3, but mainly a and c.

NW promised the board a team that would finish between 3rd and 6th IIRC, so we are exceeding expectations, and we should enjoy it while we can.

I can't help feeling that other teams below us are more ambitious and are prepared to spend multi-millions for promotion, and maybe our board still see us as a 2nd tier club batting above our station, and if we go up without spending they'll take it, but if we don't they won't cry. I hope they prove me wrong by investing in a £4-5 mill striker

We got off to a wonderful start by winning 8 and drawing 2 of our first 10 games. Since then we have only won 5 of the last 14 games, drawing 6 and losing 3. Not exactly promotion form. I'm too long in the tooth to get sentimental about players, If there are better players that we can bring in, then we should. This is a great chance to win promotion, lets not blow it now.
