  • Daddy's not happy! QPR related!

Preston chairman Maurice Lindsay has been left frustrated after Manchester United ended two loan deals following the sacking of Sir Alex Ferguson's son Darren.

I know this will be moved but I think this effects QPR, I haven't checked but Preston might be playing one of our rivals in the next few weeks and will have to play a weakened team as a result of this stunt, shouldn't be allowed to do it!

    I heard..

Brazil on TalkSport mention something about Fergie doing something that was a little out of order so that must've been what he was referring to... petulant in the extreme but also highlights the nepotism that was going on in the first place...!!

My father-in-law is PNE and whilst he is being quite stoical he is resigned to life in L1...

Highly embarrassing for Darren Ferguson, that daddy should be fighting his battles like this.

Besides, what a terrible way to treat your young players. They're getting bags of experience playing competitive football at Preston, but 'the big man' is using these boys for his own ends, messing around with their careers. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I'm a massive fan of SAF. In fact, I firmly believe he's the best manager to have lived.

However, this is pathetic and childish. Not what you expect from a man of his stature.

            Very, very petty.
I feel for Preston -- I only wish they'd got rid of daddy's little soldier a bit sooner, because they're not a club who I like seeing at the bottom of the table.

                You're probably right.
Also felt it was totally wrong to take the National Football Museum away from Deepdale and stick it in some tower block in Manchester.
Took it away from real fans at a football ground, gave it to the corporate suits in a metropolis.

I can't stand Preston, so there won't be any tears from me, but I still find this story pretty pathetic.

Good shout, I am ashamed to say I didn't even realise that happened.

I like Preston. Without their train station, I'd never get to Blackpool for me holidays.

I dont think it will make much differance to the side as they were not very good anyway.

If anything might help stir them up and help raise performances, because they look reglegation form to me.

Stoke have now recalled Tonge and Pugh from Preston.

                          Oh dear!
