My dad and his girlfriend live in Exeter, she supports Exeter, so I see them a fair bit, Ryan is a very good player, but for me, Exeter is a good club for him.

Liam Sercombe on the other hand would be a great signing.
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

I work in Exeter....Harley is a good player but I'm not convinced he's good enough for us...but I'd have said the same about Mackie before he arrived. Sercombe scored a cracking goal a couple of weeks ago against Sheff Weds (I think). Exeter are over acheiving for some reason though...perhaps it's Harley?....Sercombe?.....or other..

Warnock is based down that way, so probably has a handle on players from the SW.

Who's to say how good he is?... but I like seeing us linked with hot prospects, rather that the Nigel Quashies of this world.

If we now have the resources to take a few gambles on some hot young prospects and perhaps loan them out for a year or two to smaller clubs, then fantastic - a sign of how far we have recovered the last year or so.

Played the full 90 minutes against us in the Carling Cup last season - did anyone see the match and remember his performance?

Probably down to the manager Paul Tisdale. He has been there a long time now and whenever they sell someone he has always got another youngster to come in. Saying that Jamie Cureton is banging the goals in for them so he does have a decent blend of youth and experience.

Not sure about Harley but he has been on fire this season but it is good to see us linked with these sort of players. Players have come in from lower leagues before and excelled so fingers crossed it is a sign of things to come. Much rather have these young British lads than the journeyman Europeans that most clubs go for these days.
