Jan transfers targets - Why?

For the first time in years im not to worried weather we sign anyone in the transfer window or not.

But im very worried that the teams below us will strengthen and we end up missing
out on auto promotion.

There's 5 or 6 teams that with 2 or 3 quality prem class players could see us missing out.

My concern is that basically you are saying f uck you to the players who have got us into this position. If I was in the squad, I'd be p issed off if new players came in who weren't a class above.....and we won't be spending any money for players who are a class above.

Think there is another reason why you need re-inforcements: to give you the option of changing formation. As Goddard has alluded to on another thread, our current squad virtually dictates that Warnock plays one up top but maybe late on in games - or even at the start of certain games - he would like to be able to unsettle opponents by playing two up top. He can't really play Helguson and Hulse together (too similar) and the other strikers aren't good enough to warrant a place.
