I do believe it was a mistake selling him.
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Some of the comments are spot on.

Makes me worried about the transfer window now though.

My god - opposition board full of intelligent, well reasoned posters shocker.

        I too worry about January.

"Ive just watched his performance against Coventry - he is streets - and I mean absolute streets ahead of anyone on the park. Its only a matter of time before he moves on. He has it all and physically he has grown trememndously - his team play is still pretty bad but my goodness the boy can play. Without improving his decision making I doubt he will move to the very best teams either in England or abroad. But I think its a matter of time before the penny drops and when it does he will become one of the best players in the world.

Walker got MOM in that game btw.

I wrote this when we sold him - most of it applies

"Its so unfortunate - i genuinely think this boy will be a world star in a few years. He is only 20 and has everything - strength, pace, tremendous skill, can play with both feet. Nothing wrong with his attitude either like Gio - he simply thinks he is Gods gift to football and there is nothing wrong with that - to a degree. England will make him physically tougher and I see him going to Spain or Italy or even Arsenal and becoming a world star.

Or fingers crossed Harry works some magic, convinces him to stay and he becomes the new Chritiano Ronaldo - he is only 20 for Gods sake. "

A bit OTT maybe... but I agree about him being streets ahead of any player in this league, never mind Coventry or QPR.
And within a couple of years, if he learns how to make the correct decisions most of the time, he could be a Champions League stand-out player.

In terms of physical strength and ability, he has it all.

We are lucky to have him.... but he's lucky too, to have a club/manager who's set his career up to be what he wants it to be.

Unfortunately Yousef the same scout that alerted Harry to Walker's promise when he was at Bramall Lane will be the same one watching him when he's on loan with us. So, if Harry trusted his judgement the first time he will trust it again and there won't be anything Spurs don't know about Walker's time with us so far.............

Tim Sherwood has been watching Walker at most of our games this season for Spurs.
