The Next 23 games in the 2nd half of the season (whilst we await SirPie's next statistical update)
Points in the 2nd half of the season. My 'pessimistic' (or realistic) view -
A Norwich 0
H Bristol C 3
A Burnley 1
H Coventry 3
H Portsmouth 1
A Reading 1
H Notts For 1
A Preston NE 3
H Ipswich 3
A Middlesboro 0
H Leicester 1
A Millwall 3
H C. Palace 3
A Doncaster 1
H Sheff Utd. 3
A Scunthorpe 1
A Barnsley 3
H Derby Co 1
A Cardiff 0
H Hull City 3

So I make that another 37 points, totalling 84. Which 'may be enough for automatic.
If Cardiff & Leeds match their points in the 2nd half, both looking at 80 points.
But still too close for comfort.
As I say this represents my natural pessimistic view and my hopes and dreams have been dashed too many times before. 8 times bitten, 9th time shy.....
