I agree with Stainrod, whether or not Rowly is now good enough there's no need to take the ****.

I actually think he has a future with us and when Derry or Faurlin tire he will have a positive impact as the season comes to a close. He played well yesterday when he came on for example.

Under-estimated just how fed up the fans were, and how entitled we were to let the club know it.

      He got a bit precious.

Made a mistake there, and I think that's affected how he's seen now.
      Rightly or wrongly.
An apology or statement of regret over that incident never materialised did it?

Unfortunately Rowlands came across as a typical pampered @rsehole footballer living in his own little bubble free of criticism and the reality of the situation.

Either he was badly advised or he is indeed the above.

Even Rooney and Tevez apologised to their supporters for similar action and still the wounds are raw. You can't blame supporters for not giving Rowlie the time of day at the moment in my opinion.

I understand your point but for me the only loyalty in modern day football is from the fans. Managers and players jump ship when pound notes are waved under their noses and Chairman sack managers after 10 games in charge.

Rowlands says he want to stay, but so far we have only had enquiries from championship clubs.

IF a mid table prem side came in for him say Birmingham or Sunderland would he still want to stay and fight for his place?
No, he would be off in a shot...and for that reason I'm out

I might sound harsh but thats how the modern day footballer makes me feel

Agree with trumpet on the rowlands issue

Need to let him go and just appreciate what he done for QPR in the past

He is no longer needed as we want to make the team stronger not hang onto players for there past service

He has captained the side on many occasions, and often led by example. I have not seen him shirk a challenge. He has covered a number of positions from right wing, left wing, right back and central midfield, scoring his fair share of goals and more. He has nearly always acknowleged the fans in home and away games and not kicked up a fuss when not in the side.

All in all. not bad for a free transfer from Brentford and deserves a bit more respect.
Having re-read your post you obviously are unaware that he pulled the players down the tunnel last season and told them not to go and clap the fans? This was during the time of the protests.

Also, not only did he kick up a fuss about not being in the side this season, he went above Warnocks head and whinged to Paladini, undermiming the manager. Could of caused all sorts of trouble considering the previous episodes between Paladini and managers

Still think so highly of him now?

In fairness he probably thought that he and the players were at least doing their bit to keep the show on the road when the complete circus of our club was being caused by the directors and in particular Flavio, so perhaps felt boos from the crowd were misdirected. I'm not justifying arrogant player behaviour but just a thought.

3 players - McGugan better than the likes of Watson, Rowlands, Leigertwood etc and would provide excellent competition for Derry & AF.

Martin Paterson - currently injured but due back very soon. Very good record at this division and did well in the Premiership.

Ryan Bertrand - defensively improving all of the time and very good going forward.

                  And of course Kyle Walker.

You honestly think those two could manage a dozen games between them in a season?.

And at probably £100k a week between them?.

And you say you are not a spammer and call other people clueless?.

i cant see Watson signing for us if he's in the line-up for Wigan vs Arsenal...and chief penalty taker.

We wouldnt afford his wages unless Wigan continued to pay a %. It's not likely.

'Fit' is not something you mention when you talk about Woodgate and Bullard.Might as well sign King as well.

I like a bit of banter mate but you've basically called me a troll

I also think we should look at Kieron Dyer as he is likely to be released at the end of the season
