Judging by NW's press conference yesterday it seems like the most we can hope for is loans in Jan, saying thats what the owners would prefer.

Hopefully Walker until the end of the season then try and buy him in the summer if we go up.
Need a CB,and St Ledger may take a chance at jumping a sinking ship,or Kilgallon from Boro who can also cover at left back.
Like us have a go for Graham or Austin.
We can surely fund them by dumping our excess crap for nothing and freeing up wages?.

The problem with "dumping our excess crap for nothing" is first find your rubbish dump. It needs to be a club prepared to keep the likes of Patrick Agyman in baby Bentleys. Clubs that would want him can't afford his wages and clubs that can afford his wages wouldn't want him. Similar story I imagine for Vine and maybe quite a few others.

Remember Woodgate hasn't played a minute of any sort of semi-competitive game for over 14 months now. Needs at least three or four full 90 minutes in behind closed doors games before he'd be anywhere near ready for the Championship.
I'd doubt Woodgate would want to go to Cardiff. Middlesbrough, possibly but would definitely prefer to stay in London

Why are some fans so desperate to break up by far and away the most successful central defensive partnership in the entire division? There might be an argument for needing extra cover at centre back but Woodgate wd have to play every game he was here and don't see why we should break up our successful team just to get a star player fit for another club (unless they agree to sell us Walker on the cheap)

Clint Hill adds as much passion to the team as Rowlands did so we don't even miss that aspect
He has captained the side on many occasions, and often led by example. I have not seen him shirk a challenge. He has covered a number of positions from right wing, left wing, right back and central midfield, scoring his fair share of goals and more. He has nearly always acknowleged the fans in home and away games and not kicked up a fuss when not in the side.
All in all. not bad for a free transfer from Brentford and deserves a bit more respect.

Didn't help himself with the fans last season.
Under-estimated just how fed up the fans were, and how entitled we were to let the club know it.
He got a bit precious.
Made a mistake there, and I think that's affected how he's seen now.

It is no coincidence that since these 3 fans favourites have been replaced, we have improved not only definsivly but as an all round team.
No time for sentiment, Rowlands is an average player and now we are better than an average team. Sort him a testomonial on the astro with the somalians then send him back to Brentford
