  • On Way Back From Coventry

    Absolutely buzzing.

Would love to know what NW says or does to these lads at half time because we were superb 2nd half. First half I felt we were getting dragged into Coventrys sh!tty style of play but we sorted ourselves out.

Great support today & nice to sit back & wait for the scores to come in knowing we have done our job.

Can anyone tell me what the Sky commentators were saying about us?

P.S. We MUST sign Walker. Absolute class.

    Well done mate !

We're proud of you all !!

Peter Beagrie doesn;t think we'll sign many players unless a real gem becomes available .

They all reckon Walker will make it for Spuds eventually but feel he is best placed where he is for now !! Walker interviewed after wards on the pitch and he said he'd like to stay if the 2 clubs can sort something out . Beagrie reckons Warnock will be on the phone to 'Arry to offer him a belated xmas presiie !!

In summary they said we were solid all over with a good blend of flair , old heads and speed on the break ! Very complimentary .

Beagerie was impressive, had done his research - even corrected the presenter and said we hadn't spent much money. sky summed it up by saying the championship is now ours to throw away.

Well done for going today RicRoc. My budget didn't stretch to this one after going Leeds and next Norwich. Our support looked and sounded good on tv. Warnock said we've got some Yorkshire grit! WTF! Lol.

Commentators were raving about Walker and saying we should do anything to keep him from going back to spurs. They said he could play at a much higher level.

One comment that wound me up was made by the main commentator who said we aren't always the most pleasing on the eye but do the basics better than anyone else in the league.

        Happy days

That's brilliant thanx Maddix, Bob & stainrod.

Also were they complimentary about Adel? I thought he played brilliantly today, passing and moving, I actually said to a pal I wish he'd be a bit more selfish & towards the end he was just taking the p!ss out of them. Top player.

Yep they were complimentary about him, particularly second half and said his flick for Tommy Smith's goal is something no one else in the Championship would have the vision to try, but they were drooling even more about Walker who was superb. Can I also just say as I know he has his critics, what a good game Clint Hill had today?

Apart from the second goal he had a fairly quiet game (maybe we all expect too much ).

The one thing they said at the start of the programme was that he tends to to save his best for games at LR and he needs to start doing it away from home !

To be honest the commentators and summarisers were purring about Walker and Adel never really got a mention .

Leeds 2 up and Cardiff 1 up

They praised Adel for his cross for smiths goal and they came out with all the usual cliches about him being unpredictable and a match winner etc.

Before the game NW said that Taarabt was the most skilful player in the country and Beagrie more or less backed that up by making reference to Ronaldo leaving for Spain and nobody else since.

Leeds looking strong. Still plenty of time for Watford to come back against Cardiff.

Get in. Come on Watford (can't believe I'm saying that)

Table could look splendid tonight if results go our way.
