It's a decent shout, but I think if he keeps up this form, we keep him in January and we get promoted, we will have to devote the well known Christmas Carol to him...."Adel, Adel, Adel, Adel, born is the King of Loftus Road...".

This song is the sole preserve of the great Stanley Bowles at the moment, but Adel could replace him (I'm not suggesting he's better than Stan btw).

United have been using that for Giggs for years.
And I personally hate the United song that already gets sung.

Yeah. Don't think it stopped us using the Wayne Rooney "White Pele" song for Buzz, did it? Football chants have no exclusivity though I would object if we played The Liquidator or sung "One man went to Mow", which is pure toss.

Where do you think they got it from?

Unless you do an original with something like the Only fools and horses theme, you'll very rarely going to find a song not sang anywhere else.

I can only think of Captain Jack that is original and even that was probably taken from someone else

Agree with Pete. If a song is sung by some other club and it's a good song, why not nick it and adapt it?

Pigbag is sung by By Middlesbrough. Not sure if anyone else does it?
