  • Do QPR want to make any money?

Arrived v late, every box office and turnstile closed. Met one fan who had spent £600 to get the match, another who had travelled 500 miles. And they couldn't get into the ground. They eventually got into the box office where - surprise, surprise - there was a queue and only two desks open. Lots of other staff were just sitting in the office doing admin yet it didn't occur to them to open more booths. In America fans would be greeted and made to feel special. At QPR they make you feel they are doing you a favour selling a seat. Then if you get in late you can't buy a programme and after the match all the food stalls are closed.
It was a great day, loved the football so all this is just a minor point really - but unless the Club does a lot, lot more to improve the general experience of going to a football fans we aren't going to win over new fans. Its so obvious so why do we still not get it?

Know what you mean, went for a drink after the game and walked back past the club shop, i thought i'd get myself a 2011 calender as it, but the club shop was closed, thought due to the game being an early kick off and it was earlier than normal they would have stayed open after it for a couple of hours but, no! Oh well.

      Sounds like a bad experience.

Rangers have been poor in that department for years seems they haven't improved much.

am sure there were alot of fans who felt like doing that yesterday but it shouldnt be necessary - they could make more money and fans would feel better treated and more likely to reuturn. In any other business it would seem so obvious as not even worth stating yet despite some brilliant businessmen owning our club their business savvy hasn't filtered down.

There is no competition so why would they try to improve?

We turn up every week to see the team and the game, the others (food, programme, experience etc ) are all seen as secondary.

To me there is a great business opportunity to keep people in the ground after the game, set up some proper bars with sky football on, do some drink promotions and would make decent extra cash.

Problem is all of the catering at venues now is run by 3rd party companies so no incentive for tyhe club to do anything.
