Arrived v late, every box office and turnstile closed. Met one fan who had spent £600 to get the match, another who had travelled 500 miles. And they couldn't get into the ground. They eventually got into the box office where - surprise, surprise - there was a queue and only two desks open. Lots of other staff were just sitting in the office doing admin yet it didn't occur to them to open more booths. In America fans would be greeted and made to feel special. At QPR they make you feel they are doing you a favour selling a seat. Then if you get in late you can't buy a programme and after the match all the food stalls are closed.
It was a great day, loved the football so all this is just a minor point really - but unless the Club does a lot, lot more to improve the general experience of going to a football fans we aren't going to win over new fans. Its so obvious so why do we still not get it?
