Bernie is no fool, he would have held talks with Neil already asking what it is we need to do to go up, I'm pretty sure they have already discussed our plans, targets and next step.

Wish I shared your optimism MYU. Walker on loan extension + PVM is all I can see happening. Like to see some of these happen: Curtis Davies, Pantelis, Commons, Moses (if Buzz not fit), failing that Ambrose. Also van Aarnholt on loan or Spurr (better bet than Hill nowdays), and one of Austin, Chopra or Beckford. Overall, 4-5 from that lot should be enough for automatic promotion if Cardiff or others spend big. Without that, we won't make anything except probably the play-offs (which lets face it, most of us would have settled for at the start of the season). Too much deadwood, and you can be sure we won't be able to clear it all ie. Rowlands, Cook (sadly), Leighterwood, one of Hulse or Helguson (two is a luxury--I'd rather keep Helguson myself). Agyemang too, should go though he is valuable for 15 mins if we are chasing a game. And goodbye Leon Clarke I'm afraid. Not the answer.

The other solution is too radical and disruptive at this stage of the season . Sell Adel for $6m (we'd get it) and bring 6-7 of the above. And I don't think it would work.

I missed out Ben Watson who I'd have back in a heartbeat under Warnock. So basically I'm asking for a whole new squad just about (if we sell Adel and ship out the deadwood) except for Kenny, Connolly, Walker, PVM (no idea if he's any good yet at this level), Helguson, Derry or Mahon (not both) and Mackie, Tommy Smith and Buzz. It isn't going to happen and what do I know really stuck out here in Australia anyway.
