    Agree with someone above.

It really is now or never. We're not going to get a better chance at promotion than the one we're currently sitting on for at least 10 years IMO.

Time for the Board to really back the manager and go out and get whatever it takes.
9 goals in 28 appearances with 11 of those as a sub last season in this division.

In actual minutes played he scored a goal every 178 minutes - better than a goal every couple of games

I don't see it as a punt, any good poacher striker would score a shed loads with our midfield.
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Agree this is a great opportunity but these players are on huge amounts of money and we can't just carry on forever funding a large shadow squad that isn't even in contention for first team action. Sadly we are paying the price for some panic buys when we were bottom of the table and facing relegation when the board took over.

My expectations were always more modest than some on here so wd be happy with cox.nodge you say he hasn't done it at pl or championship level but if you trouble to look at sir pie's stats you will see that he actually has a v gd recent strike rate, albeit over a v limited number of games.

Been saying his name for a while, would be a top signing for us.

Good player. But agree, this is our best opportunity to go up so we should definitely bring in some quality to help increase our chances. Him and Chopra would be pefect. :sorry:

                      That wasn't half bad either!

                      From 50 secs.

SORRY I posted this in another post but feel it relevant to this one...

It amazes me how people think our next four games will drive Warnocks activity - will it heck! Warnock has a list of players and knows who and/or what we need - He currently has a list of four players he feels are key to allowing us to push on (I won't mention any name or my sauce on this so don't ask). One as Warnock has said is PVM which we all know about. The others are largely depending on who goes out the door - ML/MR/KW could all force Warnock into making additions. Someone this week has enquired about Hogan's availability and worryingly two clubs have been watching Taarabt too. Warnock knows he has a great bunch of players, what they all have to offer and knows they are capable of a top 2 finish. He isn't stupid!

Would be great to get Simon Cox in, different option and a natural goalscorer. May mean changing the system to accommodate him up front with Hulse/Helguson but its a great option.

Brilliant little player and he would be far the most natural finisher in the squad.

Lets show some ambition and sign him, the lad must be gagging for 1st team football.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Simon cox would be a excellent signing, really wished we had got him when WBA poached him...

                              Out:

                              Ephraim
                              Hall
                              Vine
                              Agyemang
                              Buzsaky
                              Rowlands...

                              Just my opinion.
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...
