Typical of our fans..... typical of football fans in general?

I've made a point of staying away from all boards after both our recent defeats as you just know there will be keyboard warriors out in full force looking to fan flames and stoke up rumours of the end of the world.
I've also had far more important things to worry about.

Top of the league at Christmas by 3 points with a whacking GD.
Possibly the best Manager at this level by a country mile.
    Flabio gone.
Still two billionaires on the board.
One of the best flair players at the club I've ever seen in Adel.
The number one keeper at this level between the sticks with a more than adequate back up on the bench.
Proven Championship campaigners like Derry, Hill and Hulse on board.
Players putting 100% in every week like Mackie, Walker etc.
    Good squad spirit
Only lost one at home and one away.
We're now approaching halfway stage in the season and guess what we've not changed our Manager for almost 10 MONTHS!! Who'd of thought that over previous two years?
We have the ability to add to the squad and will surely bring in calibre like Faurlin, Kenny, Mackie etc IF we do.

Yet still theres internet know-nuffinks queuing up to stir up worries, angst and concern. Can we still get relegated? Where's our next win coming from? Oooooohhh Leeds are unbeatable, they are sure to go up (or the mighty Cardiff, or possibly Sexy Swansea, or maybe even Norwich, really worried about Leicester -- don't you think Pompey could do it....ooooohhh.. ooohhh ooohhhh). Why can't we score goals? Why doesn't Adel lay it off every time? The prices next year will be really high. Why does the club lie all the time? What if we don't sign 23 strikers who can all bag 20 a season? Is Derry too old? How has Clint Hill managed to get out of 1st gear? You do know that Neil Warnock lost to Martin Rowlands in a game of tiddly-winks and they absolutely hate one another no don't you? Don't you? WELL BLOODY DON'T YOU?!?!?!?!?!?!
We're DOOMED Captain Mannering -- DOOMED!

    FFS get real.

Loving the ride this season -- I'll leave my worrying to other more serious stuff if that's okay with you.

    KEEP THE FAITH

I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Top post. One of the best of the year! If our fans aren't happy at this stage of the season then when will they? Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Don't let the moaners stop you from posting.

i dont think there has been hardly any whinging, everyones ecstatic with our position as far as i read. theres nothing wrong with discussing players that are not performing as well or why its all gone horribly wrong in the last two games. (cos anyone who says it hasnt is a liar).
its a discussion board, and discussings its point.

I disagree gtp I've kept away because of what I perceived to be moaning. Goddard clearly wasn't happy with rebel and now this thread. Many weren't happy with our summer transfer activity and now seem to revel in telling people how right they were. Not everyone. But just a few people who post a lot lot more than others do.

When we are winning this board is very quiet when we aren't a number of people come out of the woodwork to have a moan.

maybe mate, but i jsut think everyone has pet hate players, and they will always hate them whenever they dont score for a few games, or they misplace a couple of passes/tackles.
we are top of the league, and this is all we could ever of dreamed of. we have been more than brillaint this season thus far.
we just have to make sure it carries on that way. a couple more losses wont stop us going up, as long as its only a couple and they come in between another massive long undefeated run.

I said this pretty much the same only the other day mate. This board is full of trolls, more than some of the other message board who simply sit there waiting for something minor to occur only to try and stir something upand cause in fighting. LBLOCK don't worry yourself over it fella, its really not worth it.

This is one of the toughest leagues in the world to get of and we are going the right way about it. Keep the faith lads and get behind the team!!!!

and that concludes a statement from the "omg im so happy with my team" party
does make me laugh that some people just cant take anybody having a different opinion than them without taking it personally..... yes we have had a fantastic start and yes we have great spirit and a great manager but we have now hit a bit of a blip which may or may not be turned around in the next couple of games. Some like to revel in the moment (Top Of The League!!) and some slightly more cynical have been expecting the wheels to come flying off the last month or so Lets face it we have been riding our luck for a few games before the Watford defeat and many could see the blip coming. So dont get your knickers in twist if the more older and wiser start to worry whether we can maintain this great start we have had and whether Bernie (and Flabio if your really a cynic ) intends to show real intent and spend some serious money on the squad in the Jan transfer window (a goal scorer, left back and cover in Midfield and Centre backs would be nice).....every now and then lift your head outta the sand and you may get a glimpse of what lies ahead or just respect the fact that some fans have spent lifetimes worrying about QPR and like nothing better than a good old whinge

Been following this club for 44 years, so I take nothing for granted.

That said though I have never seen us in such a strong position - on and off the pitch - as we are now; I feel very positive and really enjoying the season - even if we "give away the Blackburn game".

I personally love all that is QPR, and every fan I have ever spoken to or met has my deep respect.

I am certainly NOT concerned that we have lost two games, and I refuse to slate ANY of our players as I believe NW knows best!

                        Cheers guys.

Agree with all that you have said,
they remind me of friends of mine who are Liverpool and Arsenal fans and fans that I know of clubs in the Premiership, all they do is moan. Liverpool guys wanted Rafa out, now they have Hodgson, Arsenal fans want Tony Adams and Viera, those guys are never satisfied, and I suppose the moaners thought Rangers would be the New Invincibles and act as if they were the only ones that wanted strikers and fullbacks, centre-backs and another Derry in January. We all know that, and all the millions in the bank does not guarantee that you can get a 5 million pound striker in January, you take what you can get. Personally I can't wait to see Buzz and Adel on the pitch together, the service will be better and our non-scorers might actually hit the net more often.
