I know i always sound like doom and gloom on this board and most disagree with what i say(squad not strong enough for promotion,we need a quality striker ect),and some,well one in paricular has said im not a fan of the club(despite supporting them for 40 years,and watching them play at home over 100 times),i realise the likes of bennyboys and quaz would like me to just leave the board because of my strong opinions BUT rest assured i fully understand that you too are loyal supporters and only want the best for the club and for that i admire and repect all the members on this board,even if we get into heated debate,at the end of the day its just one person's opinion against another.I would like to wish EVERY member on this board a very happy christmas and a happy new year. regards Conor

Drop me out, darling. I don't need you to leave the board. I find your posts amusing, and it gives me and most others something to wind you up about as you don't seem to take the banter well.

Besides, I think you need to get it out of your head that we feel we don't need to strengthen. We all know we do. Our point is that you seem intent on being correct on the failiur of Hill, Mackie and Derry. You may protest my last claim, but you only seem to pipe up with things like 'It seems I was right all along' and stuff like that. It's not so much boring, as it's annoying. All we're saying is that it would be lovely to see you support the side, no matter what. Credit where it's due, they are the players who have us sitting top, and for that, they deserve a bit of respect from you, instead of being told they are rubbish.

I have no problem with you posting at all mate, so put that out of your head.

Just try and change the tune sometimes and give some well deserved credit to the lads.

We all know we need a few more players, but most of us are entirely happy so far.

Other than that...Merry Christmas to you as well.

Merry Christmas to you Conor and please listen to what BennyBoysR has to say because neither him nor I or anyone else positive for that matter is being positive because of some deluded fantasy but because we can see how far the team have come under Warnock and one look at the league table gives us reason to be positive. Yes we have a number of players who aren't world beaters but they are our players and deserve our support.

I want the squad to be strengthen but with players who can make a difference rather than more Leon Clarke's. Many others will say exactly the same but because we aren't post new thread after new thread saying it then sometime it seems to go unnoticed and therefore people like yourself think that we think it's all hunky dory.
