I am highlighting areas where we are struggling.

With regards to playing at a decent level all I am doing is highlighting I have played 25 years as a centre back and I am talking through my experience. Its up to you SirPie whether you want to agree with my opinion.

That's fine. It's just in the past some have mentioned similar things as to act like the know better than everyone else and my argument has always been lets look at Alan Hansen's trophy cabinet as a player and then as a manager and compare it with Wenger's. You don't need to be a great player to understand football but I understand why you've mentioned it now.

I agree about Connolly/Gorkss as a pair. They are slow and before recently they've had the protection of Derry/Faurlin and even Mackie and Ephraim tracked back. Unfortunately most of them look knackered and we need a bit of energy (and pace) in the side otherwise Connolly/Gorkss will have a lot of work on their hands. Playing live on TV can be great when we win but a disaster if we lose because everyone can see a teams weakness and prey on it when their turn comes. I think a lot of teams would have learnt from Watford and Warnock has to be quick to react.

I actually think that it is because Faurlin has had a lack of consistancy in his game, as the main reason to why we have struggled. Agree as Pete said the performance against Cardiff was very good. However the 1st half against Cardiff was poor and I actually said to a friend Faurlin is having a mare and should be taken off.

Thank god that Warnock didn't do as I said because Faurlin came out in the 2nd half a completely different player. Like many have said and being a centre back who played at a good level I realise many games are won and lost in that midfield battle. We have exposed our centre backs due to losing that midfield battle.

Gorrks and Connors are relatively poor defender when it comes to players running at them with pace and balls being played through them. Neither have pace and are both slow on the turn. I think if Faurlin can find his form and Derry gets stuck in and win all 50/50 we will see us winning games but playing walker who has little to no experience in that position is not the answer to our problems.

We definately need another centre midfielder because fraulin can't play at a high level consistantly.

Hes had about 4 bad games in the 51 he's played for us, he has always been consistent for us

Thats a very bold statement considering you don't know my footballing back ground. I just finding it quite insulting if you think playing centre back for 25 years means I haven't learn't anything in football throughout that period. I am not saying that makes me a tactical genious either.

I have questioned a few players but I do expect to see 3 or 4 new players. People slated me for questioning Hill but IMHO he isn't good enough to play left back and we need to bring someone in who is better.

Lets wait and see till jan to see if Neil agrees.

Anymore? So how do you come to that conclusion when he hasnt played all season? Just because you dont like the guy doesnt mean he's s hit all of a sudden.

We need strikers simple but they need to be ones where they can fit into a different system when needing a change,teams have worked us out and we need dif options i dont think we are playing that bad i feel alot of you are over reacting.Another thing is rocking the boat maybe buy top league 1 strikers with a gamble to get us up and will understand being on bench, and please dont be frighten to give taarabt a rest on bench i feel needs it
