  • My view on Bernie.

I was fortunate enough to be invited into C club to watch the Burnley game this season had a coffee on the plush leather sofas when we arrived and Bernie was on the next sofa talking to his guests for the day and believe me from what I heard of the conversation he loves his involvement with Rangers.

At half time he was on his mobile cursing the referee who had just awarded Burnley a penalty.

Don't believe all his tongue in cheek comments about not being bothered by QPR and football from what I saw he was a passionate about his involvement as us fans are.

Good luck Bernie and lets all get behind him and the team.

    You R'rrrrs

      Thanks for that TheHat.

I do think much of his comments are tongue in cheek and i think he just wants success, quite often he gets it.

Agree, I think he is just very dry. Much prefer that to all the ridiculous Flavio boasting about Champions League etc which just made us a laughing stock when it wasn't backed up with anything.

hes nearly a hundred. do you think any man of that age has the brain cells to make sublime and dry jokes about being a chelsea fan?
          never in a million years.
not slagging him, but spare me the 'hes on another level and loves qpr and has since he was a boy' shite.
he doesnt give a monkeys, and wouldnt still be here if it wasnt for warnock.
oh and read the interview with neil, his boss is amit.

He's 82 (I think) and he continues to run F1 with an iron hand. He's a billionaire and one of the most powerful individuals in world sport.

If you don't think he has brain cells....then you need to seriously re-think. He is clearly an extremely intelligent and shrewd individual.

I would agree that when interviewed he leaves you thinking 'how on earth did he manage to get where he is and maintain it'...but the evidence is there and irrefutable.

He must give a monkeys - else why would he bother. He would have absolutely no reason to whatsoever!

Like I said from my experience of being close to Bernie at the Burnley game he did not strike me as a man who doesn't care.

He looks in good nick for an eighty year old man and wants to have some fun in the later years of his life.

              Over to you Bernie....

what milestone is 82 nearest too?
oh and im not doubting his intelligence or business acumen whatsoever, im doubting his dry humour, and that 'im a chelsea fan' comments as not jokes at all, and qpr meaning nothing to him till we looked like the premiership could happen. and if it doesnt happen this season i would wager he would be off as quick as he arrived. thats why its so vital we do not #### it up, or we could be ruined forever.
im not slagging him, hes just not a rangers man and never will be imho.

Does this now make the bbc centre a more plausable move for a new stadium?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

My understanding from what I read from your posts regarding Bernie is that you've never watched F1 before, never seen what he's interviews are like and someone that's only just heard of him.
