but did anyone hear on BBC london today that Warnock wants to buy in January but the board want him to wait until summer? Hope its not true, we are top of the league, and 2 or 3 good signings could confirm promotion that we have been waiting for, for years. If we throw this season away, who knows when, or if we will ever get as good chance.

thats what i thought until i heard this. Hopefully at least 2 will come in though. We have a good side, but not a team that I sure enough of to go up, like Newcastle last year. If true, this is really bad news. Just been taunted because of Australia getting back into the Test match, and now this very much worse and much more important (to me) rumour. Not a good day. I very much doubt we will remain serious contenders for automatic promotion beyond February if true. I still think we should just about make the playoffs if we sign no-one simply because of the manager we have and the points we already have under our belts.Comment
