Makes some valid points, but Faulrin is not a weak link. He is definitely one of our better players and far better than say Buzsacky in position. ( though Buzz is far better going forward)
We have flair players which means both DERRY and Faurlin have to do all the donkeywork.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

think you miss what he is saying pete. on the ball faurlin as you say is one of our better players. its when they have possession and he has to track runners and cover space.Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"

Very harsh on Faurlin. Agree he was absolutely terrible against Watford but thought he was immense second half against Cardiff and has been fantastic for a lot of this season. Am prepared to look more closely at him but I've always liked the way he has been both combative and skilful. If you are looking for scapegoats Derry was equally anonymous against Watford and he is meant to be the real tiger of the midfield. Also, Macintyre says the only reason Faurlin hasnt been exposed is because we have had so much possession - well might not Faurlin as our midfield general deserve just a wee bit of the credit for that???Last edited by stainrodisalegend; 16-12-2010, 02:46 PM.

was heralded as a true qpr leg end and the best and most consistent all round player in the side by near on everyone on this forum at the start of the season.
now some bloke whos got a blog says hes not even going to be a regular anymore and other teams are just focusing on him singularly cos hes so crap.
strange world, strange people.

Gaxze,
Well mate, if thats how you read it fair enough. I am even more bewildered, the number of times Faurlin breaks up play is one of the reasons why we are 4 points clear and the unselfish nature he lays the passes onto Tarrabt
Poor old weareqpr12 got lambasted for saying he didn;'t like Hill (he went OTT), but saying that faurlin is the weak link is probably why Mcintyre is in jounalism, to get the reaction this is gettingALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Faurlin has been great so far this season but hasn't impressed since returning from injury - maybe not quite 100% fit? - and was definitely the major weak point against Watford. After Faurlin went off, Watford's chances and breakaways just didn't happen and we re-asserted midfield. May be a co-incidence due to Watford being content with what they had but there's more than a grain of truth in there.

Faurlin has had 3 or 4 bad games since returning from injury. Watford had youth in the middle of the park and that's why they beat us and the others didn't. The fact he thought Preston & Cardiff had the same game plan is madness. Preston didn't have a game plan and were shite, Cardiff were also beaten by a better team.
