Watrb and the Jan transfer window

Pete do you have any plans on creating a registered users only area for transfer news during the Jan window ?

Due to the increased speculation the site has become almost unusable at times during the last few transfer windows... Of course if we arent looking to bring anyone in then it wont be needed but i thought i would raise the question...

Doubt we will mate. Don't think too much of a frenzy this time, maybe for a 24 hour period, not expecting loads of signings in one day

After the last overload MYU did some research and tweaked the forum settings, seems to have done the trick ... fingers crossed

I'm not to sure if it has but we'll find out very soon.

If it does get bad then we might have to only allow members on the site for a few days, that would be the only way we can stop from going down right now.
