Am I the only one who thinks the 2nd goal wasn't offside?
That's the 3rd goal and from what I saw last night and on the TV when I got home both the 2nd and 3rd goals were offside. The only thing that matters is that the Linesman thought it was onside.
none of them were offside. its just sour grapes. they beat us far and square.
the only #### up was the handball penalty. but that was a massive #### up that meant the difference between us winning and losing imho.
It is the angle that you are looking at it, the distance from the defender's foot to the grassline is more than Grahams. It was offside. The second goal, could also be argued as offside as that lump Taylor was in an offside position and in the Kennys view when he ducked out the way, if that is not interfering what is. However, I have come to not accepting ever getting any decent officials when we play Watford.
I've looked at it again.
The 3rd goal was easily a yard if not more, offside...should not have been a goal.
The 2nd goal...i thought it was offside initially but having looked at it, he is interfering with play but unfortunately, he was doing it from an onside position so it was a goal.
For once this season, we didn't get the rub of the green and it was pretty much the whole game and judging on today's results and the fact we hard a lot of misfortune last night, i'm not too worried about this result! Just annoyed it came from those stupid b*****s from down the road
Ok - lets try and get this thing sorted.
Before the shot you see above - the ball was played into the player that is now on the ground while Graham was walking back from an offside position. He was about 4 yards offside when it was played in.
The player that ended up on the ground managed to poke the ball forward to Graham who had by now got in-line as you can see above.
But - now he is active and very much interfering with play - so the Lino should have flagged.
Not second phase either - he gained a distinct advantage from being where he was.
QED
Offside. End of.
However, we deserved to lose by 3 or 4 so it doesn't really matter.
3rd obviously offside,ok we didnt play well but being 2-0 down we have a chance,1 goal and we are back in it but 3-0 down to an obvious offside goal gutted.
3 rd goal changed whole nature of the game, especially just after half time.
Referee and linesmans displays totally useless, probably the worst ive seen in
50 years of fooball.........but credit to Watford they played well.
We panicked and totally lost our shape and composure and time and again
had no width.
My girlfriend who Watford fan said that 2nd and 3rd goals where both offside. "nd goal before he short the player who passed to the scorer was offside when he passed to.

Just need to move on and get back on track
you R,s
Got to say I agree with most of that, however, as bad as the ref and lino were, I have seen worse even in the last few weeks. Hopefully it might stop the board thinking we have all the players that we need, as we still need some quality up front. Lets just see how the corresponding fixture works out in May.
