  • Did Anyone Else Switch Off At Half Time?

I did :-D I really looked forward to that game all day yet I was so shocked after 45mins I decided to switch over to The Mentalist to cheer me up!

I was gutted with that result and QPR really let us down big time.

Having been ill all week, and struggled with awful traffic, just making kick-off, I very nearly left at half-time.
But then I thought of Derby and stayed.
Nearly went when their third goal went in, but some masochistic tendency kept me in my seat.
I never, ever leave before the end -- but at 80 minutes I was still feeling so washed out I called it a day and left, missing our consolation goal (as I did at Watford a few years back when Shi2 scored a consolation and we lost 3-1 then I think).
Walking back to the car, I didn't realised we'd scored -- can't have been much of a celebration by then -- just heard about the goal from passers-by.

Even at 2-0 down with this team, would never leave or turn-off. Just one of those games. Admittedly we were poor, but we do have a knack of coming back in games

Pete we created very little throughout the 90 mins. I thought our defence were all over the place and if there were to be more goals it was going to come from watford.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Never give up on the rangers whether it be at the game or watching on TV. 150 men had it with 3000 zulus, the zulus walked away.

tbh, Pete, would normally be there at the final whistle, as you know, but I've felt so rough all week, I nearly didn't go at all, and just physically couldn't stay any longer.
In retrospect, wasn't really well enough to go.

Its one game, be more worried if it was after 4-5 games.

Swanleyhoops, it was obvious in this one, we were never coming back, so don't blame anyone for going. I am just talking in general terms for this season. Derby and Portmsouth spring to mind
