Does Mackie Need A Rest?

Love this guys enthusiasm & drive but just cannot hit a barn door at the moment. Also missed another sitter tonight from a few yards out.

Since he stopped scoring he's missed so many chances in the last few games. Runs around a lot but we need GOALS.

Maybe we need to freshen up the front men.

What do you reckon?

hes not an out and out striker, jhes got his quota already for this season, anything more will be a nice plus.
thank god he played tonight, cos he was the only one of our players who ever touched the ball. without him all the people watching on telly would of been even more shocked on hoow terrible we were.

We have other options up front NW signed them so better off asking him.
I just think he looks a bit stale. But as I say love him.

I think the "drop him for who" argument just proves we need new players in January ,and for what it is worth if we had anyone decent in that position I would definitely drop him,but we don't

hes still better than carlton cole and if he never scores again this season he will still end up with more goals than him and hes not even a striker. it is a funny old game you are dead right.

needs to be dropped and Faurlin could do with a rest too. Both been poor for a few games now

He doesn't need "resting", he hasn't played in two weeks - he needs to be dropped. He is now being exposed as the average player he basically is.

Be nice to get Buzsaky back, and fit again.
If we're going to stick with the one centre forward, he's more of a support/threat than Mackie will ever be.

When Buz is 100% fit, he's as good as anyone in this division around the box.

Thought mackie did well, wasnt sure on Furlin last nite :S
