  • Well done Watford

Pretty good performance from them to give us a fair hammering at home. Amongst the doom, gloom and self analysis a little credit is due where it's deserved. Well done Watford.

most times they counter attacked they had three and four against two and three of ours. when I saw the recent publication of the actim index on here a few weeks ago, I think watford had five or six in the top 100 compared to our nine, and I had them pencilled fin or a tough game.

I'm surprised NW didn't change the game plan to cope with their breakaways which looked embarrassing at times. Maybe Neil was thinking about getting his long-johns on at last. One game is no big deal.

Don't know if it's already been mentioned that scott parker going to spurs means that KW goes on loan to the hammers in january. Now that could be a blow if true.

Their first goal was well worked, the second looked from SAR that kenny was unsighted by lots of bodies in front of the ball, didn't really look like a shot, and the third looked offside.

Still we've had loads of luck so far this season, maybe we've got rid of loads of bad luck all in one game.

Personally, I think we tried our best, but were beaten by a better side.

There were draws that could have been losses, but tonight there were situations in the game that could have gone our way too. We put in the effort but came short and what could go wrong did and the game was over when Orr and Clarke came on, it became a run out

Hopefully a wake up call leading up to the Jan transfer window, which will see us over the line with a few fresh faces

the penalty was a massive turning point, if we had of got that and converted we would of done to them what they did to us i reckon, cos they would of shite themselves and jsut let us walk the ball around.
none of the goals were offside by the way, just watched it all back on sky plus.#
the only moan we got is the baltent pen.

Mckay said in his press conference they did their homework and would break with pace.

I thought if we had got the handball or Mackie had scored it might have been different, but in general we were awful tonight and they could have won 6 or 7 nil

As much as it pains me to say it, the better team did win. Ref didn't help matters though. At least now the pressure is off us, no more records to break, just to get points on the board!

Was the pressure ever on us, or is that just BS? Surely all teams take every game as it comes??!!

It's a very average Championship this season - perhaps???????????

If two of the relegated teams had an approach like Birmingham and WBA we'd be in a different league. Only Burnley seem to have managed their time in the premiership with any form of prudence!

We are lucky that Portsmouth and Hull fooked themselves up. This promotion is there for the taking at a time when parachute money counts for jack - lets make the most of it

Yep fair play to the golden boys, but the next 19 games will see us crowned champions

They played well, and deserved it.

BUT... our last away game of the season is at Watford. April 30th.

I've got that pencilled in as the day we return to The Premier League after 15 years.... in full view of those bright yellow c***s.

Tonight?... fair play to them. We were no better than a pub team at times.
I'm sure Warnock will smile for the cameras, and joke about his shorts etc..
But hopefully they'll be made to sit through a video of that "performance", and get their arses kicked back into shape afterwards. Full hair dryer treatment.

We took Watford lightly, and deservedly paid for it.

                              (BTW... cheers Millwall)
