why is rowlands being frozen out

i trust warnocks judgement i really do but think sending rowlands out on loan would be a error if the worst happened and faurlin or derry got injured he would be my first choice to replace either of them as i see it our only other options would be mahon who i think rowlands is miles ahead off and connely who is playing out of his skin at centre half so would be stupid to move him and with buzz injured and legs on loan we would be very short in that area so please neil keep martin at the club

Rowlands has been out of the game for how long? Remember he is now coming back from his second long term injury and barely played a game between recovering from the first one before the second came along. He is clearly lacking fitness and match practice. martin himself is claimed to have said he gets nothing from reserve team football - so where on earth will he get the sharpness he needs to feature - only by getting game time. Why should NW give him time as a passenger in the 1st team - where the work ethic demands 100% from first whistle to last.

My opinion is that he should have gone on loan for a month, got some games in his legs and then come back to show the gaffer his worth.

you make some good points but are back up at the moment is mahon who has also been out of the game for a long time and if he was not fit why has he featured on the bench in front of mahon i just thik he deserves better as he has been a great servant to the club

Rowlands has been on the bench and come on for a 10 min run out, more than Mahon has had.

He needs to start listening to the advice being given to him and go out get some game time, then come back and fight for his place!

I must admit I didn't think he would make it back this time but fair play to the man, if he is back to his best he is worth a place in the squad, my only nagging doubt is it one injury to many, and maybe the medical and fitness guys are not convinced?

So do u think Mahon on his own I adequate cover if one of Derry or faurlin get injured

From the sound of it Legs, Rowly and Mahon will all be out in Jan and then we will have Vaan Moen, Buz (hopefully back) and then possibly even Watson if we believe the smoke signals.

I think Rowlands should go out on loan. Pretty sure there can be a clause put into the agreement that they could make him be recalled at 24 hours notice if Derry or Faurlin get injured.

He wont play for rangers again because he tried to go above warnocks head. He is also looking to go and play in America.
