Regarding Ambrose - even if he would have been crying himself to sleep every night he would still say he has no regrets.

I think you need to hear Ambrose being interviewed.

He clearly is a simpleton that has never read a book in his life.

Unfortunately Ambrose is to thick to realise what he has missed out on.

Anyway we are now in a position to sign much better players than Darren Ambrose.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He refers repeatedly to the promises made to him when he re-signed. Be interesting to see how he reacts if those promises are not kept. Still, he is going to have to stew in his own juices now. Would laugh if Palace went down and we were offered Ambrose - but turned him down in favour of Mosses...

They are almost certain to lose Speroni in Jan. That's a banker. So how will the promises that the club would "push on" sit with Ambrose then. He must be gutted. Getting paid now but gutted nonetheless. I don't want him at Rangers btw. Still think last year was a flash in the pan for him - not been impressed whenever I have seen him - and this year is kinda proving it , albeit he can't string 3 games together.

Agreed, he seem like he is laying the ground work for a quick get away.
                Kept the faith!

I suppose in a way its refreshing to see someone stay loyal to their club in this day and age, but i wonder if we came back in for him with the way things are (us being top) and offered him a slight rise in wages, would he stay at Palace. Im not sure to be honest but it would be interesting.
Having said that im really not to fussed that we didnt get him, Getting Derry has been the best signing we could of made from them.
