It's the same old give a player of yesterday a lighter ball, supplements, healthy diet for today's game and see how he would compare versus see how players like Sir Les would have played in the mud and with a heavier ball etc. It's so hard to compare people/players but they still do it. I agree too, the team of 75-76 was a fantastic team. In todays league they would be absolutely awesome. I love Sir Les but the likes of Stan and Rodney are legends not only for what they did on the pitch for us but what they do now for us.....support the team.
