you would only get 35k against the very big clubs, presuming the away allocation was bout 5/6k.it may be a push even then.this is hypothetical anyway as you dont even have a stadium of that size to fill.

Yeah true all I know is that our future looks far brighter than west hams, which is a shame because I like London derbys.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

            Nor me.
And I get really odd looks for saying that.

The achievement of winning promotion to The Prem is something I desperately want, because of the total sh*te we've had to put up with for the past 15 years.
But actually being in the Prem is not making me wet myself with joy.

Scudamore and his gang of greedy accountants have ruined that division for most fans, and I wont change that view, even if we become part of it.

Having said that... my two sons (17 and 15 years old) have never seen Rangers in the "top league", and it would be great for them to be proper supporters of a top flight team.
They really have been brought up on a diet of sh*t, for as long as they can remember. It'll be great for them, and all the younger fans.

So IF we go up...I'll semi-retire from following my team all over the place, worrying about league tables, how Swansea City are doing at half time, etc.... and hand over the reigns to them!

Agree with most of that Goddard.

Main thing for me is that prem clubs have to bend over backwards to please Sky.And the rubbish kick off times are a nuisance.Even top of the Championship is taking it's toll with all these rearranged kick off times to please TV.

Ask any proper Newcastle fan what would be their most enjoyable season of the last 10 years following their team... they'd say winning this league last season.

And maybe many West Ham fans would say the same about the year they went up in the play-off final?
As well as WBA, Watford, Palace, Norwich, Derby etc...

Football is about going to football games, having a good day, and winning.

Not Panini sticker albums, The Sun Dream Team, being critisized by Hansen and Mark "Lawro" Lawrenson on a saturday night... and having an open-top bus parade for finishing 4th bottom, or 4th top.

I'm sounding old now... I know that.

Goddard I am 32 and the best years of my life were following QPR in the top flight. When we had players like Sir Les, andy sinton etc. I don't think i'd feel the same way about the rangers without those great years where we played some superb football. I know football has changed but you really should try and be a little more positive. I have waited so long for QPR to be playing top flight football again and i'll be honest I didn't think it would happen in my life time 5 years ago.

I agree with you... I had the same years (and some more!) but I'm not sure The Premier League is the same animal as when we were last a force in it.

From the outside looking in, I don't like the smell of it much. Maybe because of the media, the ££££, and all the hype about "The best league in the world".

Don't get me wrong... Hopefully I'll get to find out soon, and even more hopefully I'll be proved wrong about it.
