    Errrr?

Yes they are in dreadful pickle. Top of the Prem, playing Champions League every years since the stadium was built, making 1 million per home game, making more money per year than any other club.

    What a mess.

In case you are talking about the atmosphere - Highbury was called "The Library". I used to go there a lot and it was always dead. I have also been to the Emirates and it is not a cauldren, but no worse than Highbury.

I am guessing you haven't even watched a single Arsenal Prem match there...have you?

I know this would only be a good thing, but i'd be so sad to move from Loftus Road.
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

There's only one team in West London. Us. We are W12!
As pointed out in one of the comments printed below the article.

Most clubs will of course love a new stadium and I doubt that QPR are any different but I would like to think that we will fully assess how many fans would need to be accommodated first before deciding on a 30,40,50,000 stadium or whatever

For what its worth I would be happy to just stay at Loftus Rd and yes it has its problems but I still think its one of the best football grounds out there
Quite -no news here at all. The fact the Board is looking is and never has been a secret. In fact I think we are all expecting a consultation to be started pretty soon are we not. This looks like a puff piece inspired by the Estate agents mentioned. The fact that there is no club spokesman even suggests she didn't want to ask as the whole story would be spiked. Coz all it boils down to it the site has been put up on general sale (and the estate agents get a name check so I guess they lurk behind this bit of free publicity)

the unsourced view of the Council that does gget a mention would suggest Rangers won't be allowed to get it anyway - we mat be "creative" but not in the sense they seem to want for the site.

That said, agree we need to do something about facilities and capacity. If it really can't be done at LR then my only view on a move is it should be as local as possible. This would fit bill but is unlilkely imo. Building backward on and from the Linford Christie, if we came to some sort of deal with the Council about improving access and facilities on the scrubs, remains my tip for most likely outcome (after doing nothing!).

Definately a good move, no change for our fans distance wise, same pubs closeby for both home and away fans, coach park in same location, transport closer. I like it, as long as they keep an old style stadium rather than a bowl, let's do it.

All very true Pete, just a bored journalist who has noticed the BBC site is up for sale, thought with us being very near and on our way to the prem we would probably be looking for a new stadium and there he has his story.

Only putting in writing what everybody else knows and has thought, the difference being that we probably know more whats going on than him.

We probably do know more than him, whom ever he is, as this article was written by a clueless woman.

If we are serious about cememnting a place in the Prem then we need a new stadium.Loftus Road is outdated and too small for a regular Prem team in London. We would attract alot more casual fans to each game.

And those moaning about lack of atmosphere?.Apart from the odd game like Cardiff, most of the time the crowd is quiet. And fans make an atmosphere not stadium's.Especially ones not full of people living in nostalgia about 'the good old days at LR'.

All this 'soulless bowl' talk is crap.Give me a new stadium with modern facilities over Ellerslie's abysmal facilities anyday.

                        Roll on the new stadium.

We were formed in Queens Park which is North West London and most of or our early grounds were in NW6 and NW10, So although we are now in W12 were have our roots in North West London.
