  • Family Tickets Watford Game.

Spoke to some watford boys last week, seems they have brought family tickets for £30 in the away end,but are only going to us the two adult tickets and save themselves about £20.Ive just rang the box office to order my tickets for the same game and mentioned it to the guy in the box office he said if they dont turn up with 2 kids they wont be allowed in.Do i tell them or **** myself when they cant get in.

I sat in the family stand, LR Lower, recently when I took my girlfriends boy and there were people there without kids. I really don't think it is very hard at many grounds.

In fact the last time previously I went in family stand was the Newcastle game and there were geordies in there with no kids then too.

I think they might be serious about this one. When you book the tickets you have to give details of the kids that are going and these can#t be transferred to another child. When yopu pick the ticket up you need to show proof of those details/ So if they have the tickest already they have a chance that the turnstile will turn a blind one but it is geared up to be pretty strict. Too right and all. In the family end there should be scope for a couple of away fans to stroll in. Even with kids that'd be pushing it and without it is wrong.

I bought one of those 4 for £40 deals a couple of years ago and had to give the details of the kids I was taking, needed to show ID for the kids before they would let me in, so it looks like they are serious about these deals.

You can get the family deal anywhere in bronze or silver, does not have to be Lower Loft.

I've got the deal, ordered over the phone, told them my wife and boys are going, and that was all. No names, ages etc. Tickets arrived last week with my Cardiff and Hull ones. My wife can't now go so we will probably take a mate, dressed in drag!!!

22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Soton - I am guessing you have ordered them before and they have used old details. Or you have more boyish charm than some. I know someone who had a much harder time, though they are not a regular. The official line is (this lifted from the official site...

All four supporters must enter the stadium at the same time.

Please note that when applying for tickets you will be asked to provide a full name, address and date of birth of all four supporters.

Make of it what you will and good luck. I hope we get a decent turn out but suspect we won't.
