Just spoken to a business colleague in Hull and he is very sceptical whether the game will go ahead, shops not opening or closing early, they may get the pitch playable but i think it will be a nightmare getting there, wait until the very last minute before setting out methinks !!!!

I'm in York (so not a million miles away from Hull), and with more snow forecast I am doubtful the game will go ahead.

As someone said earlier, they may be able to get the pitch playable if the snow holds off Fri/Sat, but with the amount of snow we've had up here I doubt the roads would be that great, so wouldn't surprise me if the game is called off after Police advice.

At the moment I'd say there's something around 18" of snow in my back garden. The poor cat needs a snorkel

I thought it had, but just looked out of the window and it's started again.
Sky is an ominous colour, too.
Boss just emailed all staff as to whether we'll be likely to make it into school tomorrow if school is open -- honestly don't know but it doesn't look good.
          Fed up with it all.

I'd say zero chance, the pitch might have undersoil, but the surrounding areas, paths steps etc will be frozen over or covered in snow - No footy for anyone this weekend

Not too bad here in the Royal Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Got to work fine roads are all fine we sent the funny little foreign men out to grit and salt. Its because we are posh and have arranged for less snow than other parts of the country and we are used to slippery underfoot cos the streets are paved with gold. Splendid.

Good news as if this fixture is middle of Jan we will have a better team to play them. Also gives us a better chance to stay top when we have the chance to sign some quality. I am counting down the days till Jan as we are really in a position where we can attract quality. So lets all relax, I would get refunds back for any public transport you have paid for too, Thanks
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

If you like your omens (adding to the growing list...."last papal visit" etc) last hardest winter was 1982 (in terms of lowest temps and snowfall) . Of course Rangers went up as Champions in the summer. Spooky. More of the white stuff please.

Hull City have also been taken over and will have money available in January so it works both ways.

I'd do Kerry. I am guessing from that you will say you wouldn't. Really.....
