Think Rowlands would be a good squad player, but is that enough for him ? Have to say too he wasn't playing well before the injury although that was possibly he was trying too hard.
Ambrose is a different kind of player to MR but there is no room for sentiment, unfortunately Im not sure MR has enough quality left after the injuries he has had. I would love him to prove me wrong but just cant see it.

Got to agree with Dazzer. Rowlands natural level in my book has always been Div 1. Been overrated by most R's fans over the years. Ambrose probably isn't ever quite going to be premiership quality and is a different sort of player but surely in a promotion pushing squad is the better bet. I'd rather have Ben Watson if he could rediscover his form (which he might well do under Warnock)than Ambrose though, TBH.
