  • QPR team without Taarabt

If Adel was missing for a period how do you feel the line up below would work whilst we wait his return?

    Kenny
    Walker
    Connolly
    Gorkks
    Hill
    Mackie
    Derry
    Faurlin
    Ephraim
    Hulse
    Smith

442 formation with Smith as the smaller striker to accompany Hulse or Helguson?

I write this because other fans and teams have commented on us relying on Adel. I think the team above would be a play off team at least.

I guess it depends when because if Buzsaky were fit then it would be a straight swap.

Or if it happens during January then the window is open. I don't think without Adel we are too bad a team and the one you list would still get results as you say.

if buzsaky is fit then straight swap. we'll score more but create less however. (buz will look to shoot at every opportunity)

without buz id play ephraim wide left and smith wide right. mackie would be better off hulse than smith imo. plus smith's delivery is awesome.

actually if no buz id put in orr. push walker into right mid and have smith wide left.

      Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Who really cares what other teams think. Fact is we do have Adel and he's going no where!

Also fact is like most away fans have commented we are a 1 man team but when that 1 player dictates games and wins you games I don't really care. No disrespect to the other but I find it hard to pick more than 3 players that could hack premiership football.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

All I see from this is Adel Taarabt missing and Hogan Ephraim coming in.. If that is the replacement we have problems..
If we had a sniffer striker, who could get a goal or 2 without Adels creativatey would be ok but as we dont, i fear when he is out we will revert to drawing, not winning.

Whilst we are a NPC team does that really matter though? If we get to the Premiership then we can worry if any of our players are good enough at that level.

                Agree Sirpie.

Jeffro the best replacement in Tarb's position would be Buzz not Hogan.

Buzz could also chip in with goals and is a decent player at this level.

Cook on the left instead of ephraim. When fit of course. 4-4-2 hulse on the end of cooks crosses and smith reading the knock downs and flicks. Could work. Whatever we'd be fine without adel, we play to our strengths and if he's not fit warnock would find our best way.

I love that fact we have a plan b with hulse up top. Always an outlet.

yeah some find it hard to accept that we are a 1 man team, however if we keep winning I don't care to be honest.

True Gleigh, although buzz could be a decent replacement

To be fair we haven't done badly when losing this season when Adel has been taken off.

Someone posted a few weeks ago that we score more goals when Adel is off the pitch!! (this stat obviously excluded the Preston and Cardiff games)
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
