  • My thoughts on yesterday..

cardiff im sorry aside the slip and kenny save they didnt look like scoring.

faurlin didnt have the best of games.. he got on the ball enough but just made some silly errors.

derry, taarabt and hulse we're immense. i was hugely impressed with hulse.. his touch, flick ons etc all vital to hitting cardiff where it hurts.. at the back. they looked WEAK at the back.

felt mackie done a lot of running but is trying too hard to get that next goal.. would consider resting him for hull and bringing him back for watford. maybe give clarke a game.. he has impressed me for the past two appearances.

cant believe what im hearing from cardiff.. if they wanted that penalty and that was all they had to say about the game then they are really stretching.. after seeing their lineup i thought they'd match ups 4-5-1 n 4-3-3 but they went 4-4-2 and for me that was a mistake on their part as i feel bothroyd and chopra up top with bellamy out wide would have been a better option.

Thought Faurlin was the unsung hero of the second half. Pushed up further than Derry who was sitting in front of the back four, he was nipping away at the Cardiff players and played some good balls.

faurlin didnt have a mare but some moments yesterday his passing was off and he just lacked in tackling and doing the defensive side of things.
